SeedSigner is built with consumer hardware. The firmware runs in RAM. Powered off, no seed remains. You enter the words or roll the dice again, sign a PSBT via QR, power off. The persistent secret is the steel plate, not the gadget.
It is excellent for verifiability and cost, and as a leg of a multisig. It is mediocre as a daily wallet. Security then hinges on dice entropy, firmware verified every session, and the absence of eyes (human or camera) while the words are displayed.
No SE. Unnecessary: there is nothing to extract. An attacker who steals the powered-off device steals plastic.
