Jade is the hardware wallet one can afford to put in a multisig without crying. Open firmware, low price, QR option to move away from USB. Jade Plus hardens the product (screen, build) without changing the philosophy.
One peculiarity: the optional “blind Oracle”, a server that helps verify change without Jade having to store everything. It is an additional trust choice, which can be disabled. Liquid is supported natively, which orients the device toward the Blockstream ecosystem.
This is not a luxury EAL6+ SE. It is a verifiable tool, often used as one of three keys in a 2-of-3, where its relative physical weakness is compensated by the quorum.
Fits if
Price, open source, a key in a multisig, Bitcoin + Liquid.
Keep in mind
Less armed against a well-equipped physical attacker than a Ledger or a Safe 7. The optional Oracle is a trust choice to understand.
